on a modular system formed of bases and components connected through fastening mecha-
nisms, providing limitless possibilities for the wearer.
This system offers a sustainable solution to seasonless fashion, allowing new collec-
tion components to mix-and-match with previous collections and reducing waste. Through
a systematic approach of 1 system, 10 bases, 100 components and 1000 additional compo-
nents, J E Cai creates a fashion framework which fosters experimentation, rebellion,
and individual expression, through the foundation provided by intellectual, formulaic
design.
